Program Description: Death and bereavement are among the most difficult of life’s challenges, yet so often universities are not designed to respond to death in truly caring and culturally responsive ways. This interactive session brings together perspectives from psychology, student affairs, and policy to provide higher education professionals with practical strategies to support their communities in moments of loss while helping collectively imagine better approaches to grief and bereavement rooted in our shared humanity.
