Program Description:
Led by graduate students in the UMD College of Education, this presentation will explore the critical role that student-led climate surveys can play in fostering inclusive, responsive, and compassionate campus environments. The session will not only highlight how students can take initiative to design and implement these surveys, ensuring that diverse voices are heard and valued, but also how higher education professionals can amplify, assist, listen to, and encourage student leaders. Attendees will leave with practical insights and strategies to replicate this model, inspiring a collective commitment to shaping a campus climate that nurtures growth, connection, and equity for all.
