Duration: 45 minute

Program Description:
Accessibility on the Maryland campus gets forgotten about through buildings, sidewalks, departments, programs, etc., leaving a gap in addressing the needs of students with invisible disabilities. Although there are still problems in those designated areas for those with visible and invisible disabilities, these unseen conditions, from mental health challenges to chronic illnesses to sensory processing disorders, are often overlooked in campus culture, faculty-student interaction, and especially the creation of policy or training. This program sets itself aside from others by coming from a different perspective than just the physical accommodations related to accessibility.
